- Waste2Tricity are pleased to announce that, subject to contract, an agreement in principle has been reached to transfer its Option for an Exclusive Licence to use AFC Energy alkaline fuel cells for UCG applications in Great Britain and Northern Ireland to B9 Coal Ltd. W2T retains its Option for an Exclusive Licence for all other gasification applications and believes this will allow increased focus on developing projects in its core area of expertise. As part of this agreement the MOU with Thornton New Energy Ltd for their Fife project will also be transferred to B9 Coal. (Press Release - December 08 2009)
